International QIGONG Retreat

Location:   Cheile Grădiștei Resort – Fundata, between 2 mountain massifs, Bucegi and Piatra Craiului

Period:   starting from Friday August 16th until Tuesday August 27th or until Monday August 26, (only) for those accommodating in a 2-star hotel – Hotel Sport**.

Information: This summer’s QilinGong camp will take place in a very special place, in a mountain resort in Romania. This wonderful region reveals its beauty in all seasons, attracting lovers of mountain paths and all those who love nature. 

Located at an altitude of 1300 m, the resort is in the middle of a spectacular landscape. From here, you can admire 2 mountain massifs that look at you full of grandeur and make you meditate on what it actually means to be stable like a mountain … as you will learn in one of the techniques that will be taught in this camp .

You have a lot to learn here, both from the mountain with its calmness and from the people, from those who started from a dream of theirs, which they followed and fulfilled… From a guesthouse and a tractor, to one of the largest and most complex tourism projects in Romania, was much more than a step: work, passion, inspiration, pragmatism, vision, patience, perseverance, energy and adaptation. At Cheile Grădiștei, all this is felt in the air, it amazes and delights you!

Qigong:    Every day there will be a morning practice of Qigong in the open air, under the direct guidance of Master Lin Kai Ting. The master will teach some special methods and techniques, the central point being Yi Jin Jing , or the Tendon Transformation Technique .

The other two daily practice sessions will bring you new things, high teachings and deep meditations every day. You will find that Qigong is actually a way and a philosophy of life!

Live Streaming & Video Recordings  All practice sessions will be live – online on zoom.us. Video recordings of all the qigong practice sessions will also be available.

Considering that Hotel Sport** could only be booked for 10 nights, ie August 16-26, and the practitioners accommodating here would not miss either the practice or the party, we thought that the camp program should be slightly modified of other years, in the sense that the festive dinner will be organized on the penultimate evening of the camp, ie Sunday, August 25.

Due to the instability of the current international situation, reduced “Early Bird” prices cannot be granted this year.

• The options for this year’s Qigong camp are service packages . This event is fully attended and there are no separate prices per service. (it is paid per camp as a whole, not for a certain number of days)
• The distribution of rooms in Hotel Piatra Craiului*** & Hotel Bucegi*** or even Hotel Sport** will be done in the order of arrival.
  The room number and the reserved place in the form in which they will be communicated to you by e-mail, represent an internal code (eg H2*-D-C8L1). You will get the actual room number from the reception at the time of check-in.

Required documents

Given the Personal Data Protection Rules ,  in order to be able to participate in the qigong practice sessions (physical or online), it is mandatory to send us the signed GDPR Agreement  – scanned or photographed (except for the situation where you provided it previously) . The GDPR agreement is sent only once to DPO (at  privacy@qilingong.com).   

Due to the fact that in order to be able to participate in the qigong practice, a medical consultation is mandatory, you are asked to contact your GP (medical doctor) to fill is and sign the Health Certificate (click on the links below).

• A Health Certificate (Formular 1) filled in and signed by your GP. The Health Certificate must not be older than 2 month. It should be issued only after the 15th of June 2024.
• The Rules Consent and Health Declaration Form (Formular 2) filled in and signed by you.

Please sent the Health Certificate prior to your arrival, by e-mail to csbucuresti@qilingong.com, not later than 1st of August 2024.

Make sure that your Health Certificate is valid on arrival! Our GP (if there is one) does not issue such certificates.

IMPORTANT: People suffering from psychosis, serious diseases in an advanced stage (cancer, kidney failure , liver failure), contagious diseases, severe heart diseases (cardiac and respiratory failure, myocardial infarction, stenoses, those with stimulators, valve prostheses, implanted valves, etc.) cannot attend the qigong practice.

Warning! After the 4th month of pregnancy, ladies cannot participate in any of the qigong activities organized by the federation.

International Qigong Master Lin Kai Ting practicing Yi Jin Jing

Whether you are or you are not familiar with qigong, you are a long time QilinGong practitioner or this is your first encounter with it, this camp is a unique opportunity to step into the wonderful world of Qigong guided by Master Lin Kai Ting .

Children under 12 have a small discount on accommodation, only if they are in a triple room with 2 adults, and qigong practice is free.

Options for the Retreat

1. Online Qigong Retreat 2024 – Zoom.  This refers to the fact that participation in the event is online only.  Registration is done from your QilinGong account, choosing the Online-Zoom option.

Price:   400 EUR

   Meeting ID & Password for access to the zoom sessions will be received by e-mail on the 16th of August at 2 pm (GMT+3) only after you had made the payment and sent the scanned GDPR Agreement  (only if not sent before for previous events). It will be paid to the account of the Bucharest Qigong Association no later than August 16th current year. See payment details below.

2.  Physical participation.  

This refers to the fact that participation in all three practice sessions will take place physically – together with the Master and his trainers, together with the entire group of practitioners.

For this option, registration is done from QiliGong account, choosing the option Hotel Piatra Craiului 3***, Hotel Bucegi 3***, Hotel Sport 2**or No Accommodation.

There are 2 types of double rooms: with 2 beds (twin) or with a matrimonial bed (with separate quilts). The triple rooms consist of a matrimonial bed and a single bed, any of which can be converted into a single room.

Also, in Hotel Bucegi*** there are some rooms that are a bit bigger (about 7 rooms), Double/Triple de Luxe. They consist of: 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed

NEW!    This year, the 2** Sport Hotel was made available to us, but accommodation can only be done for 10 nights, that is, between August 16 and 26 .

Registration is done from your QilinGong account, choosing the option Hotel Piatra Craiului 3***,  Hotel Bucegi 3***, Hotel Sport 2**    or   No Accommodation

Due to the instability of the current international situation (the various crises) and taking into account the price increases for raw materials, it is possible, exceptionally, to increase the costs for meal services, no more than 20 EUR/per stay (for all 11 days). This situation will be communicated July 15, 2024. 

REGISTRATIONS & PREPAYMENTS

Registrations is possible only online. It is confirmed after the required pre-payment (or full payment) is receive, respecting the payment due date. The pre-payment needs to be paid within 5 working days from the online registration and the amount depends on the type of accommodation booked for.

 1. The payment, according to the type of accommodation, either in Hotel Piatra Craiului,***, Bucegi***, Hotel Sport**, or on your own is at least:

• 780 EUR/pers if the booking is in a double room
• 690 EUR/pers if the booking is in a triple room

• 740 EUR/pers if the booking is in a triple Luxe room

CANCEL RESERVATION  

In case you need to canceled your booking, please let us know in writing and we will reimburse your payment (except banking fees and any non-reimbursable accommodation fees)

If cancellation is:

– Before 15th of July 2024, we will reimburse your payment mentioned above, minus the fees.

– After 15th of July 2024, in addition to the above, a penalty of 30% of the value of the pre-payment will also be applied.

• Montana Zipline – For adults and children over 14 years old. The zipline is 500 meters long and 50 meters high – The route can be traveled by 4 people simultaneously. Rate: 80 lei/person with equipment and jeep transfer to the departure point, included.
• The duration of the route is 10 – 15 minutes/person; In the case of groups, the zip line can be traveled by approximately 40 people/hour; 70 lei/person for a group of at least 4 people;

• Canam UTV car rental (4 pcs) – 300 lei/ UTV / tour of about 1 hour and 2 people enter a car. • Mountain Carts – Carts specially designed for rugged terrain, you will have the experience of a unique descent, with a lot of adrenaline, but at the same time being safe: Rate: 15 lei/1 tour, 40 lei/3 tours, 50 lei/5 tours, 70 lei/8 laps, 100 lei/12 laps
• Climbing the board: In Resort Fundata there is an indoor climbing board of 7 m, with 5 different routes. The routes are accessible for both children and adults and you will benefit from the help of a climbing instructor. Rate: 1 participant – 50 lei/30 min. • Pub on the second floor of the Restaurant: – drinks, billiards 20 lei/hour/table (2 tables available), mini-football 15.00 lei/hour (1 table available), table tennis 20 lei/hour (2 tables available);
• Tubing: 1 tour – 15 lei, 3 tours – 40 lei;
• NEW – Alpine coaster: 1 adult ride – 40 lei, 1 ride – child – 30 lei. It is approximately 1 km long and is intended for adults and children over 3 years old (*children between 3 and 7 years old can only use the sled together with an adult).
